How to handle a missing package

Here's what to do if your package is showing as "Delivered" but you haven't received it:

Hopefully these helpful tips will help you locate your package.  If not, we'll explain your best next steps.

  • Please track your order on the carrier's website for any additional information.  You may find helpful details in the notes such as "Left at Apartment Office" or "Signed for by K SMITH."

  • Check the location where the package should have been delivered (i.e. back door, front door, garage).
  • Search around your property (i.e. all doors, under/around outside furniture).
  • Check with a neighbor or leasing office /central receiving.
  • Check with other members of your household /coworkers who may have received the package without your knowledge.

Our carriers will ask that all of the above steps have been completed before they initiate a trace for a missing package.  A trace involves having the driver confirm that the package was delivered to the correct location, and will take 1-2 business days to complete. 

We can initiate the trace with the carrier on your behalf, but they are likely to contact you to ask additional questions.  It is usually easier and faster if you initiate the missing package claim with the carrier yourself.
